Synth lathered post-punk unit from Melbourne, screensaver have been riding new-waves since 2019, their first record 'Expressions of Interest' released in 2021, and sophomore release 'Decent Shapes' soon after in 2023. After extensive tours in Aus, US, and EU/UK screensaver are on the road with new record 'Three Lens Approach' (Releasing Nov 7 on Poison City Records) Taking cues from the late 70’s and early 80’s, screensaver delivers a third LP that builds on its predecessors. Asymmetrical song structures are propelled forward by a more than danceable rhythm section weaving through polyrhythms of classic synth sounds and frenetic guitars.

Dissent is a live music venue, café and dive bar based at 181 City Walk in the heart of Canberra’s city centre between the iconic merry-go-round and Garema Place.
